The Gala would not exist without volunteers

We need help each year to maintain the fabulous standards that have already been set

We need volunteers for every year’s Gala. Whether helping to set up on the day, give out events programmes, organise or marshall, or assist with preliminary organisational work- there are requirements for marketing help, logisitics and general, you can help.

Volunteer roles

• Set up on day – lifting, assembling
• Flyer distributors
• Exhibitors

You can also donate resources, such as print runs for our posters and flyers.
 

The basic structure of Gala activity

We start planning and preparing at the start of year (Jan/Feb)
Request sponsorship from existing and new sponsors, local and wider
Agree on marketing for the year, amendments and formats
Book bands/acts, organise activities (Gibson Street, GOW Backcourt and children’s events)
Website updates of Gala activity and upload of photos to document the event
