Hillhead Primary School is excited to be part of the Gala again this year! Hillhead Primary Parent Council and the school will be offering the following activities and events on Gala day:

Storytelling with Wendy Woolfson

“Stories in the sand, adventures on the shore”

12-1pm, 1.30-2:30pm

3-4pm, 4.30-5.30pm

Mural

Come and see some of the artwork made by local children attending the school, as well as a beach themed mural done especially for the Gala.

Arts and Crafts and more, more, more!

In keeping with the 2013 Gala theme of all things Summer, various seaside craft activities will be offered, as well as other fun activities within the school building.

“Beach” Area in the Playground

In the playground on Gibson Street, get in the holiday mood with a “real beach”, sand toys and other outdoor games.

Outside on Otago Street

On Otago Street, in front of the main school entrance, there will be  a range of activities for children, particularly in the younger age groups.  These will include craft activities run by the Hillhead Parent Council as well as the other Otago Street events.
