The Gibson Street Gala is now a well established and integral part of the West End Festival. This years’ event takes place once again on the “middle Sunday” of the Festival.
In January work began in preparation for the summer.
2011 will be the 6th year of the Gala and the organisers are determined that despite the economic recession this year’s Gala will be brighter and livelier than ever. However, it will retain its community links and once again be a celebration of this unique neighbourhood.
The organising group comprises residents, traders, the local church and the local primary school.
