The Wayne Devro Set

Woo-hoo! The Wayne Devro Set will be appearing on the Gow Backcourt Stage. Producer/Musician/Songwriter, Brian Docherty launched The Wayne Devro Set in 2012.

He has produced tracks and collaborated with King Creosote, Malcolm Middleton, Emma Pollok, Shirley Manson, Stuart Murdoch and more. As the main protaganist behind Scientific Support Department, his work has featured on numerous Creeping Bent albums and has remixed Alan Vega and Nectarine no.9.

After several years of composing music for theatre, film and sound installations, this project sees a return to songwriting and performance, with a severely stripped down approach using minimal instrumentation, woven around vocals and simple beats.
