Debbie Kate on GOW Stage

We’re super excited to say that Debbie Kate will be kicking off the music at 1.15pm on the Gow Backcourt Stage.

Bluesy folk songstress Debbie Kate will be familiar to fans of Glasgow 7-piece Aerials Up. Originally hailing from Dublin, her solo sounds are laden with enticing melodies, entwining themes & a voice to colour the greyest day.

The release of debut EP “I See”, a collection of songs that eludes to appreciation of Damien Rice, Laura Marling & Jeff Buckley, received airplay on Radio 1 and saw her open for Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Emma’s Imagination and Colin McIntyre amongst others.

Raised on the traditions of her home land, this small girl with a big voice sings songs all dressed with the Celtic passion for a well told story.
